In addition to having a wonderful run, an outstanding cast and crew of the Production of All Shook Up did so much more. During the performances with special deals we were able to raise over $700.00 for Riley’s Children’s Hospital and over $300.00 for other charitable organizations: Special Olympics and The Shepherd's Center of Hamilton County, Inc. We were also privileged to host a group of individuals from North Willow Center and some very brave children from Special Olympics to see this outstanding production.
We are proud to be able to use our talents for much more than what goes onstage and actually give back to the whole community.
Thank you.

Please read the testimonial below from one of the mothers from Special Olympics.
“My daughter came with the Special Olympic children to see your production of All Shook Up. You will remember her because she was wearing a backpack containing a machine which hooks her to an IV. She enjoyed the production so much and when the cast came out and danced with her, I had tears in my eyes because this was the first time she has smiled and had a good time since going on her IV treatment. THANK YOU so much…”
Carmel Repertory Theatre, Inc. is exited to be able to contribute to these three area organizations through portions of ticket proceeds, supplies and awareness. Each organization will be represented during one weekend of performances for “Oliver!” Come see a wonderful show and support a great cause!

Safe Families- July 24-26, Friday and Saturday 8pm, Sunday 2:30
Situations including illness, unemployment, and homelessness can be debilitating for a family with inadequate support. As a result, these families face an increased threat of involvement with the child welfare system. A critical need exists to intervene prior to the abuse and to strengthen the safety net that prevents children from entering the child welfare system. The mission of the Safe Families program is to prevent child abuse and neglect in families experiencing crisis situations by providing safe, temporary homes for children. The Safe Families program is a network of screened and trained host families who voluntarily open their homes to children “at risk”. Biological parents voluntarily choose to allow their children to be placed with a safe family while they address issues that led to their immediate crisis. The biological parent retains full custody of the child, and the complexities of the court system are averted. Host “safe families” continue to mentor and provide support even after the children have returned home, creating a lasting “safety net” for the family.
Agape Families- July 31-August 2, Friday and Saturday 8pm, Sunday 2:30
A key element of Agape Families is a Hamilton County house owned by the non-profit that takes in foster siblings. With a capacity for 8 children, the home provides charitable relief for the kids, keeping siblings together as they enter the foster care system. It is easy to comprehend how entering foster care is a traumatic experience, the culmination of abusive and neglectful circumstances. In some cases, the only sense of security is holding the hand of a brother or sister. Foster children desperately need unconditional love to instill a sense of hope and acceptance. Sherri, the live in foster mother, is a consistent advocate for the children, tending to their developmental, medical, and emotional needs. Agape Families has no paid employees – 100% of funds received go towards benefitting foster children.
