This is a charity event that is designed to raise awareness of the struggles of life in Africa.
Money raised at the event will go to support both local and African charities.
There are no auditions and anyone is invited to come and sing. The children’s choir will be made up of young singers from age 8 to 14. The adult choir is open to singers of any age.
All singers will agree to purchase a copy of the score and a t-shirt
(that will be worn for all of the performances). The fee will be $25 or less.
Financial assistance is available for those who wish to participate
and cannot afford the fee.
Performances will be on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 at 7:00 pm,
and Sunday, September 12 at 4:00 pm - Venues TBA.
Rehearsals will be held at Munger Hall, located at Meridian Music,
12725 Old Meridian Street, Carmel, IN. Dates and times are as follows:
Adult Choir: August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 - 7:00 to 8:30 pm
Children’s Choir: August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 - 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Combined Choir Rehearsals: August 18, 25 and September 1 - 7:00 to 8:30 pm
